Otto, Remy and Jim have been friends for many years and decided in late 2002 to form a painting group and all living south of the City of Sydney in the Sutherland Shire (and using the palette knife as their chosen form of expression) a logical title was “Palette Knife Painters of the Sutherland Shire”. Since the Group’s inception they have had numerous successful art shows and also continue to exhibit as individual artists.
Sutherland Art Gallery was host to the very first Major Exhibition and is regarded as the ‘
home’ of the “Palette Knife Painters of the Sutherland Shire”. Hosts Robert and Leanne are always on hand and would be only too pleased to show you their paintings.
